California

Jon and I got the chance to go to California to go to our new nephews baby blessing. We had so much fun with all of the family... karaoke, shopping, golf, swimming and crazy card games. One of my favorite things that we did was go to the beach one morning and took some family pictures.

It was so much fun talking with Annie and Lindsay about photography. (Since they are both amazing photographers). We were able to rotate cameras throughout the whole session. I felt bad for Matt and Whitney... since we talked them into standing in the way of a furious wave part way through the shoot... Lets just say that they got soaked! I think we got some pretty awesome pictures anyway!

Hot Chocolate Table

Here we go again!
I've had this vision in my head ever since I made my entertainment center at the first of Summer. I couldn't get it out of my mind... big, square, red, chunky, coffee table. I've designed many versions of it in my famous doodles. With Summer winding down, I figured that it was now or never, so I went for it. And here it is!

Jon was nice enough to come help me on our last Saturday of freedom before school started. He did a great job spraying and helping me put it all together.

Believe it or not... this was the best picture of us that we took that day....

Voila! Here it is. My family was kind enough to deliver it to our house. Our car just wasn't big enough to hold it (Jon measured, even though it was a long shot haha).

Our entertainment center was happy to meet its new friend!

I can't even believe it! Jon and I have been married for an entire year- TODAY! It was fun looking at our clock at 11:20 and realizing that at that moment a year ago we were being sealed for time and all eternity. We have come so far since that day.

We have made at least three trips to California
One to Texas
A bunch to Salt Lake
We have lived in two different houses
We have bought a car
Chaperoned college activities
Jon has gotten a job at SWHS
I have graduated with my Associates Degree
We have had 6 TVs ranging from a 19 in. Michael Scott plasma, to a 57 in. monster
I got a digital camera and I have had a blast figuring it out
We have had 4 different couches
We have had 3 different tables
and I am proud to say I've only had ONE husband!

Jon and I got the chance to go to a cabin in Pine Valley for our anniversary. It was fun just getting away. No Television, No Phones...
We played Jenga (I totally won)! And we watched Mary Poppins while snacking on some grapes. We also went on a picnic that morning and enjoyed some peanut butter and honey sandwiches. Then to top it all off, Jon took me to one of my favorite restaurants (Parrot Head) and then to get ice cream.

How did I ever get so lucky?

Wedding Day

I was able to go to Vegas and do pictures at one of my best friends weddings! She looked so beautiful and had such fun colors. These are only a few of the details. I have tons more wonderful pictures on there way.

I had no idea how my pictures would turn out enlarged.. But I was so happy to see them! They looked great!
