BBQ Birthday

Hello! Welcome to the party!

We had a BBQ this past weekend for our Aunt Janes birthday. It was fun to see Jane, Mel, Grandma and Grandpa Sharp.

What more can I say, Mason is a chick Magnet.

I was able to talk to Grandma Sharp for one of my final school projects.
It was fun listening to her stories of her childhood.

We were laughing pretty hard as we were trying to spell "Happy Birthday" right.
Hppay Brihtday! haha. We were too busy talking when we finally realized we were suppose to be spelling something.

Jane is such a caring person. I'm glad that I've had the chance to get to know her.
Happy Birthday Jane!

Jarret

Jon suprised me with a new camera this week and I was so excited to try it out! This weekend we did a shoot with this cute little guy. It was fun following him around and watching his "Apple Juice Dance!"

First Attempt

I have always enjoyed photography and I have taken a couple film photography classes, but I have never had the chance to play around with a really nice digital camera.... Until now. I was able to goof around and take some pictures of my nephew (It is hard to go wrong with him as your model) He was such a hoot to be with!

Mochi or Not Mochi

Sitting there on the couch craving our favorite treat.... that lucky for us only exists in LA... we were struck with an idea. Why can't we make our own mochi! We looked up recipes... went to the store... bought all the ingredients... we invited my little sisters... TADA.. Mochi night!
We had to make the dough and roll it into balls then flaten them out. Quite an adventure trying to wrap icecream balls with our dough before they melted. Maddie and Tylee were a big help. Even though they had no idea what Mochi was, they trusted us and kept on rolling.
This here is the making of something YUMMY!
Even though there faces don't show it.. We were having fun.

In the end our mochi didn't really end up tasting like the mochi I've come to know and love but it was still a good, and it was a fun experience.
